Streetlight

I am soooo OVERJOYED that Streetlight is open and completely heartbroken that I am not there..there doing something, ANYTHING! I read this verse today "Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless, maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed." Psalm 82:3 I think of the comfortable houses we all live in and how blessings just pour out of our own lives and there is a girl somewhere right now being forced to do the unthinkable. Right here in our city. OUR CITY. (Makes me think of the song...greater things to be done in this city!!) There is so much we are able to do and we don't and it breaks my heart. It is not about us and what we have or how we look but about God's purpose and defending the poor and oppressed. Today I pray....
